Pinhole/Scanner
One day I decided to place my homemade pinhole camera on a digital flatbed scanner and have them photograph each other at the same time. The scanner depicted the pinhole camera as expected, but the film in the pinhole camera saw a series of purple bars. The oldest and newest photographic technologies mirror each other, yet they "see" in such different ways. This piece exposes discrepancies in perception while joining two ends of photographic history.
