Ceramic Machines
   
Having worked in science, I developed an affinity for the the laboratory aesthetic. This sensibility carried into my experimentation with ceramic sculpture, and I eventually created these paradoxical ceramic machines. Instead of being functional and durable they are confusing and fragile. Their relationship to progress is uncertain.
